About Us

Awww HEY! You must be here because you want to know a little bit more about us, right!? Well, what can I say? We’re the Bolton’s, party of 3 (plus our adorable mini schnauzer, Tika, who makes frequent appearances on our instagram feed). Our little adventure baby Kitt was born in 2018 forever changing our lives for the better – and if you don’t have one of his little belly laugh videos looped on replay, then you are truly missing out. We belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If you don’t know what that means, take a look HERE. We don’t post a lot about that, but it has helped shape us and is a very important part of our lives, so we feel it’s important to mention.

Rhett and I both work for universities as project managers, which is funny because we didn’t set out on the same path career-wise. We are actually on two very different ends of the project manager spectrum (if there were such a thing). He’s in IT and I’m in clinical research.

Anyyyway, besides our 9-to-5’s, we love doing fun things. What that means to us is traveling, spending time together, being in the outdoors, hanging in our hometown (in the Salt Lake Area) or working on one of our many personal projects/side hustles (a couple of those include my photography business and our vacation rental property management).

So, here on the blog, we like to post about what we’re up to. You’ll notice that we talk about Disneyland sometimes. Ok, a lot of times. We can’t help it! (Hi, I’m Melissa and I’m a Disney-aholic). We project-manage the heck out of our Disneyland trips and love sharing the tips and tricks that we learn (ahem, saving money is my jam). We also love cruising and just went on our very first Disney cruise. It was amazing! We’ve been on other cruise lines also and plan to go back as often as we can (100+ days at sea and counting, baby!).

We also love being outdoors and often find ourselves in Utah’s great big back yard. There’s nothing quite like camping high up in the Uinta Mountains next to a crystal blue lake in the summertime or practically floating on the fresh Utah powder in the winter (we are big skiers/snowboarders). We are so lucky to live in such a gorgeous place (even though I swear winters here last around 6 months) and can’t help but spend as much time as we can out of doors.

So, if you like seeing post on traveling, Disneyland, life in general, camping, cruising and just simply having a good time, then you are in the right place! I love making new friends and would LOVE to hear from you.
